Eternal Romance
This is the supernatural romance comic book series that started it all. Janet Hetherington wrote, drew, and self-published Eternal Romance under her Best Destiny imprint. Janet's works is featured in Trina Robbins' book, The Great Women Cartoonists. Janet celebrated 25 years of Eternal Romance in 2022.
Books and Graphic Novels
Janet loves writing genre, and she has contributed to a variety of books and graphic novels. Women Take the Conn presents Janet's essay on Doctor Carol Marcus, scientist and mother to James T. Kirk's son, David. The books featured here are in print.
Produced Screenplays
Janet has collaborated with Ottawa director Brett Kelly on such feature films as Galaxy Warriors, Murder in High Heels, Puppet Shark, Jesse James: Lawman, and The Last Outlaw. Watch these movies on Tubi. DVDs are also available.
Unproduced Screenplays
Janet continues to write original screenplays, including the award-winning horror thriller feature, Black Goose of Baldoon (available for production). Janet writes horror, thriller, action, science fiction and comedy.

Elvira: Mistress of the Dark
Janet Hetherington scripted the Elvira comic book, published by Claypool Comics, for 6 years. Artist Ronn Sutton penciled the Elvira comic book for 9 years. In this video, Ronn elaborates on some of his art techniques. The video was created to be shown at an Elvira panel with Doc Schaefer at the Galaxy Comic Book and Fantasy Art Expo in Joliet IL, on the weekend of September 23, 2017.
